Tom

I work at a growing high-tech company in Austin, Texas, and even though I'm not a native of Texas, I lived there for more than ten years, and there's no other city like it. It's progressive, friendly, and vital. No place else has as many opportunities. If you've never been there, I'll suggest that it should be on your 'must-visit' list.
I now live in Topeka with my wife Rebbie and children, Kenny & Brianna, having just moved here at the end of April, 2007, but I continue to work for the same employer, albeit remotely. Broadband and VoIP make it all possible for me to be in the office virtuallly. Rebbie & I have quite a story - spanning about twenty years, all told - and culminating in our marriage in October, 2004. Perhaps one day we'll sit down together and share it here. There's so much to tell.
As for me, my interests include music, especially classical and jazz; history study; biking; and almost anything high-tech (particularly digital photography, leading-edge technologies, and anything Mac-related). Although I'm not presently active, I also enjoy skydiving, with over 900 jumps to my credit. Lately, I've been thinking about returning to the sport, but right now I'm putting a priority on family matters.
I firmly believe in community service, having served as a member of the board of my homeowners' association when I lived in Texas, and for four years as a city council member for the city of Leander. I have a strong commitment to working to improve our community, no matter where I call home.
I hope you enjoy your visit here. God bless you!
Tom
